What data is included?
Negotiated procedure prices from hospital Machine-Readable Files, facility details from CMS Provider of Services, HCPCS procedure codes, and Medicare geographic cost indices. Currently covering the Louisville, KY metro area with expansion planned.
Is the data really free?
The underlying government data is public domain. We aggregate, normalize, and serve it via API. The Free tier gives you 500 lookups per month at no cost.
What formats do you support?
JSON REST API. All endpoints return a consistent {status, data, meta} envelope. OpenAPI spec available.
How fresh is the data?
Hospital MRF data is refreshed as hospitals publish updates (typically annually). Reference data (procedure codes, geographic indices) follows the CMS quarterly/annual update cycle.
